Platform usage rules

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of the "Location-Direct - Travelers" ChatGPT App, which allows users to search and request vacation rental bookings directly with hosts, commission-free.

2. Service Description

Location-Direct provides a platform that allows:

  • Searching for vacation rentals in Europe
  • Viewing listing details (photos, amenities, prices)
  • Sending booking requests directly to hosts
  • Benefiting from commission-free connections

Important: Location-Direct is a connection platform. We are not party to the rental contract concluded directly between you (the traveler) and the host.

3. No Commission

Location-Direct charges no commission on bookings. Hosts pay a subscription to publish their listings, which allows us to offer a free service to travelers. The price displayed on each listing is the final price you will pay directly to the host, with no hidden fees or surcharges on our part.

4. Service Usage

4.1 Search

You can search for accommodations based on destination, dates, number of travelers and other criteria. Results displayed come exclusively from our database.

4.2 Booking Request

When you send a booking request via the ChatGPT App, your contact details (name, email) and message are transmitted directly to the host, who will then contact you to finalize the booking.

4.3 Information Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information in your booking requests (name, email, dates, number of travelers).

5. Responsibilities

5.1 Location-Direct's Responsibility

Location-Direct commits to:

  • Maintain the platform accessible and functional
  • Accurately forward your requests to hosts
  • Protect your personal data (see Privacy Policy)

Location-Direct cannot be held responsible for:

  • The accuracy of information provided by hosts in their listings
  • The quality, compliance or actual availability of accommodations
  • Disputes between travelers and hosts
  • Cancellations, delays or problems related to accommodations
  • Direct or indirect damages related to platform usage

5.2 User's Responsibility

As a user, you are responsible for:

  • Verifying listing information before making any request
  • Communicating directly with the host for any questions
  • Respecting the rental conditions defined by the host
  • Making payment directly to the host

6. Listing Content

Listings published on Location-Direct are created and managed by hosts. We verify general listing compliance but do not guarantee the accuracy of all information (photos, descriptions, amenities, prices). We encourage you to contact the host directly to verify important details before confirming a booking.

7. Payment and Cancellation

Payment and cancellation terms are defined directly between you and the host. Location-Direct does not intervene in these transactions. We recommend clarifying these terms with the host before confirming your booking.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Location-Direct platform (text, graphics, logos, source code) is protected by copyright and belongs to Location-Direct or its partners. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution or use is prohibited.

9. Terms Modifications

Location-Direct reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Modifications will be effective upon publication on this page. The last update date is indicated at the top of this document.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In case of dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of these Terms, and failing an amicable settlement, exclusive jurisdiction is attributed to the courts of Rennes, France.
